Broker's Comments

The Sadler 26, famous for its double skin-derived inherent buoyancy that made her literally unsinkable, was one of the company's most popular designs. Seaworthy and sporty, with a remarkably generous and flexible accommodation layout, good examples are much sought-after. I think this must be, without question, the best Sadler 26 I've seen for sale in recent years. It's certainly one of the youngest examples made. Clean, tidy and well sorted inside and out, she had new standing rigging and sails in 2012. In my presence the engine started from cold unhesitatingly, ran smoothly and idled without missing a beat (see video). Amongst other modern refinements she boasts a quality stack-pack with drainage mesh panels, two separate chart plotters, a meaty battery charger and invertor. A 40 watt demountable solar panel does away with the need for shore power, I'm given to understand, and the battery monitor backs that claim up. But the important thing about this boat is the design and build quality. Sadler fans will know what I mean.
