Boatshed CostaBrava offers a professional stress free Yacht Brokerage & Sales service in Empuriabrava, Roses and along the entire Costa Brava with a simple, non exclusive, 'no sale, no fee' policy using the latest technology to find buyers faster. Following personal experiences of buying and selling boats privately and through other brokers, they have developed their own simple techniques to ensure a pleasurable experience for both the seller and the buyer alike. The whole process from listing and photographing the boat to handing her over to the new owner is personally handled by us.

Based in the canal oasis of Empuriabrava in the Bay of Rosés with nearly 5000 moorings along 24km of waterways we are ideally located to cover our whole territory along the Costa Brava, including Roses, L'Escala, L'Estartit, Platja D'Aro, Palamos, Llançà, Port Bou, Port de la Selva, Canyelles, Blanes and Sant Feliu de Guíxols to name but a few of the marinas we cover with total moorings numbering over 27,000. Several low cost airlines, including Ryanair, fly into the nearby airport of Girona. Empuriabrava itself is also the Skydiving capital of Europe and there are many other attractions in the area including the museum of the surreal artist Salvador Dali in Figueres and his home in the picturesque village of Cadaqués. Or why not try and complete The Dalinian Triangle. The Neighbouring town of Castelló d'Empúries is well worth a visit with its cathedral and winding cobbled streets as are Sant Marti d'Empúries and Sant Pere Pescador. There are also many other places worth visiting if you have the time. The lakes at Darnius or Banyoles for example or the town of Besalú, the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes, Cap de Creus Natural Park, Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park, The Medes Isles and the Montgrí massif, The small bays of Begur and Palafrugell, and Sant Sebastià lighthouse, The Botanical Gardens of the maritime Selva, Torroella de Montgrí and Peralada music festivals, The mediaeval villages of Pals and Peratallada or try the coast road between Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar which some guide books state as one of the best scenic drives in Spain. If you have flown into Girona then a walk round the Old Town Centre of Girona is a must.

The Costa Brava is also very popular with golfers with many fine golf courses here including Club de Golf d'Aro Mas Nou, Club de Golf Costa Brava, Empordá Golf, Golf Girona, Golf Club Peralada, PGA Golf de Catalunya, Golf Platja Pals, Golf Serres de Pals and Torremirona Golf Club. Directions from Girona Airport to Empuriabrava
On leaving the Airport, past the Hotel Novotel, take the last exit (4th) signed to Franca & Girona AP7.
This an Autovia toll road and the toll from Girona to Figueres is less than €5.
Stay on the AP7 for approximately 45km then leave the AP7 at exit 4.
At the roundabout after the toll, take the 3rd exit to Perpignan, Roses onto the N-II for 6km.
Take the exit to Roses, Figueres, Castello d'Empuries C68/C260 (turn right at bottom of slip road).
(NOTE: do not turn off the N-II before you see the sign to Roses & Castello d'Empuries as some sat-navs tell you to, this is a very long way round and way off in the wrong direction!)
Stay on the C68/C260 over several roundabouts for 15km until you reach a large roundabout with a 'Mercadona' supermarket, turn right at this roundabout into Empuriabrava on Avinguda de la Tramuntana.
Stay in the left hand lane and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit straight on (the right hand lane leads to the first exit which is not really part of the roundabout).
This is the main road into and through Empuriabrava. Hotel Portofino is 1km along on the left.
