Comentario del broker
A classic shoal draft yacht from the board of the famous designer Maurice Griffiths, who was also the founding editor of Yachting Monthly. At the time, Medusa's were described as safe, comfortable, easy to handle and cheap to maintain. This example has had a thorough refit by a marine steel fabrication specialist, and there are many unique examples of his work incorporated in the restoration. His approach to deck safety sets a standard that production builders would do well to copy, though I suspect that the costs would prove prohibitive.
Her roomy four berth cabin is light and airy with completely new windows and seals, and she boasts a large galley and separate heads compartment.
This Medusa appears to be a very sound coastal cruiser, well thought out in a "nuts and bolts" sort of way. I would consider her to be an ideal first yacht in which to "learn the ropes", or to introduce family and friends to the joys of sailing. Furthermore, she benefits from a frugal inboard diesel engine which will get you home when wind and tide conspire against you.
