This MFV has a lot of character. She was built in 1952 along with a sister ship. She is constructed of Larch on Oak Frames and has a Pitch Pine deck. The current owner has had a professional boat builder check the boat over and has had work carried out on the starboard side. 6 oak frames have been replaced.
There is a lot of deck space to enjoy those sunny evenings with friends.

This MFV was commissioned as a Sprat Fisher built in Banff, Scotland in 1952. She was then sold as a result of the cod wars in 1975. The private owner was a World War Naval Captain and owned the vessel until 1995. She then was bought by a boatyard and five years ago the current owner fell in love with her and bought her. He liked the fact that she had a use and a purpose and an interesting history. He has carried out structural work and has enjoyed the boat but has not had time to carry out the wiring for the helm, and other similar things. The boat itself has a lot of charm and rustic character. She has great deck space, pleasing lines and good interior accommodation too. She will appeal to anartistic person with a lot of character. The current owner is a successful musician and his large family have had great times on board. This boat is currently moored in a picturesque location and the owner thinks that the owner of the boatyard would be happy for the boat to stay there if a new owner would like this.
