Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 40ft narrowboat with residential London mooring for sale. This 1969 steel hulled boat is ready to be moved into with open-plan living area and galley kitchen and comprising one double cabin at the stern. There is a shower room with room for a chemical toilet but the current owner is using this as a storage space and using the facilities block which is right next to the berth.
The boat has a fully residential mooring at Poplar Dock Marina near Canary Wharf which is transferable to the new owner. There is a 5% transfer fee that is payable to the marina operator on top of the sale price. The marina has a brand new facilities block, including showers and laundry, CCTV and security guard.
Current mooring fees are £6,200 p.a. but the new owner will need to confirm the fees with the marina operator.
The boat is priced to sell and will attract interest at this value so viewing is highly recommended.
