The weather is hot, the boats are hotter and you can watch it all shortly thanks to the Boatshed.com Camera Crew!
The last day of the Miami Boat Show and the team have been out on a 49 foot Hustler powerboat to see how fast 70 miles an hour really is on the water. We can report, 70mph is fast and furious and addictive. The boat is powered by 3 x Yanmar 480 turbo diesels and has a ZF gearbox with Fabio Buzzi surface drives. This is one mean machine - a leisure boat with racing performance.
It was praise ahoy for all of the Boatshed.com brokers at this year's European Conference held at HQ. With prizes for best broker, best photographs and best marketing stunt handed out along with workshops, presentations and some seriously funky filming, everyone that attended the event agreed it had been a great day.

It's 2008 and as we all struggle back into work, rueing the day we decided that an 18lb turkey was going to be okay for the three of us and wondering how we are going to get the pine needles out of the modelling clay, Boatshed.com wanted quickly to look back over the last 12 months. Partly this is self indulgent because we have fitted an awful lot in, but mostly this retrospective is to show you quite how much we manage to pack into our little year. And 2008 is going to be even busier.
So in time honoured Boatshed.com fashion, the teams from Boatshed Cowes, Hamble and Communications took a spin on the Vitech for a Christmas celebration in the Solent. We were helping her owners to exercise the engines and Boatshed.com never shirk from responsibilities such as these.
