Northshore's Southerly's have found their own unique niche market as a comfortable cruising yacht with very shallow draught, yet surprisingly good sailing performance. The drop keel when raised allows the boat to float in very shallow water and this yacht features the interior steering position by Autohelm.
The accommodation starts with a forecabin with storage above the berths for the extra leaf for the saloon table, and the cushion to convert the U-shaped dinette to a double berth. On this particular vessel the owner has turned by his own hand a coffee table when the full saloon table is raised and not in use creating a very comfortable living area. Galley has lots of storage and preparation space with a good sized fridge sitting counter to floor height just to the right of the sink. Master aft cabin boasts the size and comfort known with this model of yacht.
An extensive inventory includes cabin heating via Webasto and every tiny detail that would be replaced or upgraded within its 20 year ownership has been done adding to its meticulous maintenance history including a replacement stainless steel fuel tank.
Last antifouled 2011 but due to be antifouled for this season.
