Broker's Comments

For those of us of a certain age the arguments would run late into the night over the superior qualities of the MkII Ford Cortina over the MkI. Latter generations probably had the same discussions over the doubtless merits of the Playstation 1 over the Playstation 2.
It will therefore come as no surprise to you to discover that the Griffon MkII is so much nicer than the original Ed Dubois design for the MkI.
There is lots more wooden joinery and a lot more locker space. It just feels a better quality of boat, and was definitely the best of breed. This one is a fine example that has been lovingly maintained and is presented in excellent condition. Well worth a look.
