She had her mast down and the rig checked last year. Some fittings were replaced but she was given a clean bill of health by the rigger.
Her sails were re-cut and laundered by Crusader in 2006, and the headsail had a new UV strip fitted.

Comentario del broker
This Westerly Pageant is my own boat. Sadly, one drawback of doing the best job in the world is that you have to work most weekends, so I rarely get the chance to sail her with my family.
I have owned her for four years now, and each winter she has been lifted out and carefully put to bed. Her engine is winterised by an ex-Westerly technician, and the same chap services and re-commissions her each spring. She is currently ashore in Port Solent, waiting patiently for the right person to come along and get her back to what she loves doing – pottering around the Solent (or anywhere else), slipping into those shallow places where only bilge-keelers can go.
She is bright little boat, we have slept five aboard for long weekends, and had no end of fun, come rain or shine, calm days, breezy days, and a few good blows!
Her previous owner lived aboard in France, which explains why she is one of the few Pageants about with a holding tank. I had a Raymarine ST1000+ tiller pilot fitted a couple of years ago, so I can sail on my own, and the GPS repeater in the cockpit is a great bonus – just set up the next waypoint and there is no need to keep nipping below to look at the chart! I didn’t want to fiddle about with a gas locker, so I have fitted an Origo cooker, and I’m much happier knowing there is no gas aboard. I have left the gas pipes in-situ, so if you want to go back to gas it will be no trouble.
Everyone who has been aboard over the last couple years has commented on how bright and lively she is. Usually the first remark is “What a nice little boat – I never knew they were so roomy!”
Give me a ring and come and see her, maybe you’ll be lucky and she’ll choose you to be her next owner.
