Unlike most of the trawlers built in the 70's and 80's ,Californian Trawlers were built in this country, not Taiwan. This supplies an overall better built boat.

The solid fiberglass modified-V hull has a fine entry forward that gradually levels out into nearly flat after section's for stability and greater speed.
Another feature are the wide side decks which allow easy access to the fore and aft decks.

Waterline Boats / Boatshed does not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

The Californian 34 sedan model, with flybridge, has several unique features. First, as a trawler, it has twin engines, two staterooms, a generator (Northern Lights 5 KW) and side deck walk arounds.

Another feature is the double aft doors to the saloon which create a large entertaining area.

With the twin 135HP Perkins 6-354's the vessel has a fast cruising speed of 12 knots.

Most of the exterior wood needs work. even with the complete set of canvas covers including rail covers.

The flybridge has a large helm/companion seat plus plenty of room for deck chairs.

It's always special when you can purchase a vessel with twin diesel engines and a 5 KW Gen set for under $50,000. -
