Broker's Comments
This Converted Passenger Ferry has lots of potential with plenty of room to become a great live-aboard. She does however need a lot of work and it’s not just basic DIY for example the decks are in need of major work to refit and re-seal them, and there is plenty of other work needed to get this boat anywhere near to just a “DIY fit out”.
The current layout which can easily be altered is as follows: There are three cabins above deck; the Saloon & Galley areas are very spacious & light. The Wheelhouse sits above the main accommodation. Below decks there is the engine room flanked by two further large cabins these have been partly clad.
The boat has a wood burner in the saloon as well as oil fired central heating.
The engine was last in full use about 2 years ago when she arrived at her current location under her own steam. The engine has however been run up since then in early 2011.
Please note the boat is currently moored on a Marina mooring this is not a residential mooring. The contract with the Marina can be renewed on a 12 month contract
In summary this boat is a project and not one for the faint hearted; but she is very realistically priced to reflect this.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
