This vessel was built by Brooke Marine in Lowestoft in 1969 as one of two prototypes for the RNLI Thames Class life boat. She was put to work as a pilot boat working the South Coast, salvaging boats which had run aground, due to her very solid build. As well as this she has been used as a crew boat and tug. She retired and was sold in 2006.
Accommodation
Cabin(s) | 3 |

There is plenty of room down below decks for crew accommodation and stowage. Traditionally the aft-cabin would have housed the crew, the midships cabin would house the galley and general items and the forward berth would have been full of equipment and possibly some extra berths.

Broker's Comments
This vessel has had many commercial uses in its history due to its strong and sturdy steel build. It is very spacious Ideally this vessel would contiue to be used for commercial working use however could be converted into a domestic boat. Her interior includes a forward, midships and aft cabin which could be converted into a more aesthetically pleasing interior. This vessel will benefit from some TLC, The current owner motored her around from Southampton to Kent and he said that she handles really well. He felt that she is a very sea-kindly vessel and this is enhanced by the midships location of the engines.
There are a number of options this boat can be used for and is looking for a new life whether it be as a working or domestic boat. Her price reflects the fact that some money will be required to update her.
Have a look at the photos and the video coverage I have taken of this interesting vessel.
