Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this superb Princess 440 for sale which has had plenty of recent upgrades including a full suite of cockpit and flybridge canopies as well as new cushions for both areas as well.
The mid 40' flybridge boats are ever popular, particularly from the renowned British builders, and this 1994 example has been well maintained with some excellent updates over the years.
This is the three cabined version, the smallest cabin set to the port side with two bunk beds. The master cabin at the bow is very large with plenty of space to walk around the bed.
Currently moored in London, this boat has been used as a charter boat along with being let on AirBnB so presents well internally. In 2018 the current owners added a full flybridge enclosure making it usable all year round and this has been replaced in 2023. Internally, the carpets were all replaced in early 2023.
Because the boat has been chartered regularly, it has been serviced annually and the engine bay is clean and dry. I have driven this boat myself on a number of occasions as charter skipper and she runs and handles well.
The boat is currently moored at St Katharine's Dock and the mooring could be transferred to the new owner with a successful application to the marina. The AirBnB business is not transferable.
Current mooring fees are circa £17,000 pa. Prospective buyers should make their own enquiries direct with the mooring management prior to purchase.
