This will make a perfect live aboard, a pleasant alternative to a Dutch Barge Live aboard or Narrow boat. There is a lot of room below and all the creature comforts are provided. The Engines were removed by the previous owner, however they could be refitted with ease. There is a interesting history with the boat.
Originally a Naval tender designed for carrying stores to
resupply battleships, hence the extremely thick and robust hull allowing
it to operate in all weather conditions. The boat was opened top in
order to allow it to be loaded and unloaded quickly. On both sides of
the boat are large metal eyelets - these were used to hoist the boat out
of the water and onto the battleship, were it would be unloaded before
been returned to the water.
