Broker's Comments
This is a lovely example of an 'owners version' Bavaria 44 Ocean with the large master suite cabin with ensuite heads and separate shower.
The boat is a very spacious family friendly yacht that is well suited to both short and long haul sailing. The rear cockpit tent can be removed for sea use and there is a zip on front panel with access door and windows for the spray hood which gives an extra level of protection around the companionway and also acts as a wind break.
As you come down the companionway you arrive in the large saloon area with large galley on the port side and the main saloon seating and table on the starboard side. Moving aft of the saloon there is a the nav station and back from that is the master suite with a very large double bed, masses of storage and off to the port side is the ensuite heads and separate shower room which also opens out into the main saloon. There is room on the saloon bench seat for someone to sleep but the saloon table does not drop down.
There is lots of engine bay access around the back and sides and the engine bay is cavernous with lots of room for working on the engine.
Forward of the saloon is the large forward double cabin with a good size double bed and ensuite heads and shower. Again there is plenty of storage in the cabin. The boat has a classic mahogany wood interior with blue upholstery throughout.
The boat has stacks of historical paperwork, is VAT paid and has the original owners manual. The boat is now at Glasson Basin Marina, Lancaster.
