VIRTUAL TOUR - VIDEO - 80 TO 100 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS VESSEL!
This 41’ 1961 Chris Craft Conqueror which was a special order from Algonac, Michigan for the owner of the largest Chris Craft dealership on the West Coast. Jerry Bryant operated the Seattle based Chris Craft dealership, Bryant’s Marina from 1928 – 1978 the latter years in the famous location on Northlake Way in Seattle. It was the Bryant personal family boat from 1961 to 1970 when unfortunate health conditions forced Jerry to sell. This is one of only five known Conquerors in the Northwest from the 1961 and 1962 model years. The current owner acquired in March 1988 and has had continuous ownership for 31 years. During that time, many enjoyable trips to the South Sound, San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands were made. During his ownership it was lovingly restored to better than new upgraded condition. custom upgrades include a cast and polished Stainless Steel anchor adorns the bow, while a custom made Glasply 10” dinghy hangs on custom davits aft. During the current ownership the entire interior was re-decorated as mid-century modern with new cabinet doors, wall coverings, window coverings and counter tops. There have been many mechanical upgrades and modifications including rebuilt Chris Craft 300 hp engines (Ford 427 is the Daytona 500 race winner and same engine used in authentic Shelby Cobras) with very low hours and custom fresh water cooling, generator, inverter, heat pump heat and air conditioning, electric toilets with separate holding tanks and upgraded fuel capacity as well as custom teak foredeck to accompany the teak side decks and rare teak cockpit. The boat has always been kept in covered moorage, however the cockpit and transom areas will need re-finishing. These boats are known for a long life due to the quality mahogany wood and silicon bronze-fastened double planked hulls. All deck hardware is chrome plated bronze. This boat will make a comfortable live aboard with room for guests or long distance travel. This is the perfect boat for the Chris Craft enthusiast who can appreciate the quality workmanship and has some cosmetic restoration skills to return this one of a kind boat to her former glorious condition.
