The Perkins 6.345 engine was rebuilt in the 1998 refit. The heavy duty S.C.G. gearbox was renewed and all related equipment was overhauled and/or renewed. Legend plates on the major components indicate date of refit, and person responsible.
Props are in good condition (owner indication), and the shaft has been fitted with a rope/weed cutter.
The steel plate rudder is reinforced with webs and is supported at the base by bushing in the keel extension. The top of the stainless steel stock is machined to take an extension and emergency tiller.
The main steering is a Wills Ridley manual hydraulic system and there is an electrical rudder indicator.
There was a wiring refit in 1999 - high standard finish. All original cabling was replaced with new tinned rubber sheathed cable. All relay boxes, fuse boxes, link boxes and accessories are clearly labelled.
Generator (2001) Scorpion Power House MOD D8, 6kva twin cylinder diesel powered generator is installed in the engine compartment. The generator is as new.

Broker's Comments
Since her MOD days, this harbour launch has had a mechanical, electrical and hull refit. As her photographs will show, she has been kept in keeping with her original spec. Her engine was rebuilt in the 1998 refit, and electrics refitted in 1999. Legend plates indicate dates of work done, and names of those involved. Her makeover has been a labour of love and has been tastefully done.
Her external paintwork is excellent. Her internal decor is minimalist, but pristine. There is some beautiful woodwork - some new, some old. Flooring is excellent, but unfortunately due to excess rain on day of listing, not shown to it's best effect - there is hardly a mark on it.
From 2003 to 2008 this vessel was stored under cover, when her internal layout was improved to incorporate sleeping arrangements, and the addition of heads.
The engine room is impressive and well kept. She has a unique and exciting feel to her. She offers an exciting drive, due to her strength.
Owner parting with her due to lack of continued use, and is selling regretfully. Many tales to be told of this valiant vessel.
